A Hoppy Easter

The Easter Bunny was nice enough to hop by. Brooklyn, of course, wouldn't go near him with a 10 foot pole, but Beckam was very interested.

Some of my neices and nephews couldn't stop hugging him, others wanted nothing to do with him...until he left...then they wanted him back.

Beckam found Brooklyn's Easter basket after the Easter egg hunt. He dug right in!

She didn't mind that her basket was empty...he even got a hug! (Although it looks like it was quite painful for her to do it.)


I was so proud of Brooklyn for going down this particular slide. This slide is the kiss of death really. It shoots kids off the end of it and sends them into outer space! So, yes, I had to hover a little bit.

And up she goes again

The Easter egg hunt at Grandma Kay's is very competitive among all the grandkids.

Brooklyn and her baby that the Easter Bunny brought her. Mommying is Brooklyn's favorite thing to do- if it's not Beckam, it's this baby...or daddy.

I don't know why this one came in sideways, but this was right before church.

This was as still as it got during Easter devotional.

Playing with the loot. Brooklyn got a new children's Bible. She puts them in her scripture bag and takes them to church with her.

Adorable Mother's Day Gift!!

Sea World

The kids with Monga and Papa. We walked under this lilac arch and it smelled so good we all stood under it and took pictures just to linger in the fragrance. It really did smell that good- like walking into a flower shop. mmmmm.
As the flamingo started walking toward them, Brooklyn's hand kept receding.

Beckam fell asleep in the stroller and when I peeked in on him this is what I saw.

Brooklyn doing back bends as we walked from one venue to the next. She was way too excited to see everything upside down.

The beluga whale was fascinating to Brooklyn- okay, to ME. They are as white as snow to blend in with the Arctic conditions. Beautiful! They swam right in front of us. Here we are below water level, but on top, there is no glass wall between you. It was awesome.

The Polar Bear walking right on past us. We got to pet it and everything.

(Okay, obviously there was a wall here, but it almost looks like there isn't.)

The sun finally came out and we could take off coats for a minute. He was such a good boy the whole time- which was a good thing because I was having so much fun. Jason and I were like two kids in a candy shop running around trying to get to EVERYTHING.

This was a demonstration of how high the dolphins can jump.

Interested....but not easily ammused.

This was at the Pet Show where they had trained cats and dogs doing all kinds of tricks. It was a cute show, but since Beckam had no idea what he was watching and couldn't see around other people's heads anyway, he just watched me the whole time.

The Great Shamu. I think I honestly loved Shamu this time around as much as I did when I went my first time in sixth grade. I was glued. It's so amazing that little tiny people actually train these huge animals to do this stuff.

How sad that we white Utah folk couldn't even get some sun that day. We we're all bundled up instead to fight off the wind. Brooklyn had a little windmill that kept spinning around in her hand.
