Steele and Ciera's Pre-Wedding Day

The day before the actual wedding, we went with Ciera and her family through the Temple then we all got together for a big luncheon at Trolly Square. It was an incredible day! Lots of very special things happened that day and Jason and I were so happy to be a part of it all.

Amanda, Ciera, and Me
(we all got matching necklaces from Jason's parents for Christmas, so we had to wear them for this special occasion of course.)

Brooklyn and Cambree
It's a good thing they had each other all day or else it would have been an extremely long and dreadful day for Brooklyn.

My little polka-dotted sweetheart!

She ate her salad and quite enjoyed it too! I have never seen her eat salad before.

Christmas Day!

We had the whole Kizerian clan stay with us during Christmas because Jason's brother got married a few days after Christmas. So, rather than everyone going to California for a few short days, then back again, we all just had Christmas at our house! It was fun having a house full of family. The kids had so much activity everyday and got so worn out, that Brooklyn actually slept all night long IN HER OWN BED! She would crash so hard that she did not have the energy to make her way into my bed! Needless to say, I slept very well not having her kicking me all night.

Christmas Eve Monga made her famous and most delicious sugar cookies. Brooklyn of course was right next to her for hours baking right along side her...and covering her with flour!

Christmas Day...I had to capture Grandpa trying to open up the kids' toys because isn't that totally how we all feel? Unpackaging a kid's toy is a process and exercise in of itself.

The hit of the day was Beckam's little swords! Jason's brothers were using them all morning having their own sword wars!

Beckam in his Christmas jammies.

Brooklyn actually gasped when she opened up her doll set. It was one of those sweet mommy moments watching her be so appreciative of something she really wanted.

Wow! some new books! and how appropriate...notice the title

J and his brothers...when they are not sword fighting with Beckam's swords :)

The highlight for little B-Kate was her new camera from Monga and Papa! She took pictures of everyone all day and suprisingly she took some really good ones!

Aunt Shauna, Great Grandpa Roy, and Brooklyn

So, right after opening tons of her new presents...she goes upstairs and finds her old babies, rocks them, and puts them to "sleep".

At the end of an all-day shopping day the day after Christmas, Beckam crashed right there on my lap hours before bedtime.

Christmas came and went so fast for us this year, but one thing we always get to make time for that I look forward to doing every year is giving a special gift to Christ. I love doing this, because although I am giving something of myself to Christ...I also get so much in return. I get to work on becoming a better person and handing my weaknesses over to the Lord. He takes them, and helps me make up the difference...because Heaven knows I fall short all too often. Throughout the many challenges and trials I have had in my lifetime, I have always found the Savior waiting for me with open arms. He is truly a best friend and I realize I am forever indebted to Him. That is why I love having a few little heart to hearts with Him throughout the year as He helps me follow through with the gift I promised to give Him for His birthday.

Wolfley Family Party

My cute neice and Veronica's newest little baby boy! He is an angel!

The Wolfley family party is always a party.
Yeah, we have to have our family parties at a church every year just so we can all be in one room together...and this is just for my immediate family!! It's always so much fun and goes by way too fast of course.

Jody's wife and little girl. So beautiful!

The kids at the craft table.

My brother and my mom

We did karaoke and got my dad to sing one of his Elvis Christmas songs. My sisters and I, joined by my neice and Brooklyn, were his backup singers.

When the Wolfley girls hear an Elvis song...it's like our bodies automatically start jamming out. It's funny how that happens.

No, he's not mine...although I would totally claim him. This is my sweet little nephew.

All the grandkids put on the Nativity scene. Brooklyn peeked as we were all waiting to see it.

Here she is playing peek-a-boo with Beckam who down in the audience. He was playing it back with her shouting "Boo!"

The girl's for the most part, took their roles very seriously, the boys on the other hand couldn't stop making faces and waving at people.

Christmas Banister

You have to decorate the banister right! My mother-in-law taught me how do some really cool bows last Christmas, so we whipped it out again this year for my banister. Actually, I lied, there was no whipping- it takes me a long time. This is the first year at our new house, so I wasn't sure what to do with it, but it was really fun.

Always enough kisses to go around...

Beckam returning the favor.

Thanksgiving Day!

We went to Jason's grandparents house for Thanksgiving. Jason made the turkey again this year...he's getting really good at that! The day came and went so fast. I am determined, however, to find a pie one of these years worth the calories. It seems like I eat it just because it's Thanksgiving and you're supposed to eat pie at Thanksgiving, but come to think of it...I didn't enjoy it so much. But, hey the food was amazing!

I was looking all over for my husband, and found him downstairs watching football. I turned his chair around and snapped a picture because this is the face he makes when he knows he's in trouble!

Bon appetite Pops!

They loved Great Grandma's piano!

It's a good thing you can't actually hear them playing, the picture is cute, but that's about all!
