Late Night With the Andersen's

We had a late night at Jeni and Derek's house.
The kids played really well together. Both of the girls are the same age, and the boys are the same age, so it worked out perfectly. Needless to say, they all had a blast.

Brooklyn borrowed Bria's pajama's and was pretty excited about that.

So cute!

This was after a wedding reception- I didn't bring extra clothes to change into afterward because we didn't know we were going to Jeni's...that explains why Jeni looks comfy and I do not.

Brooklyn dressing her little brother up in her hats...again!

New Beginnings Event

Well, this was the event that has been consuming all my extra time and thoughts, which is why I haven't blogged in the last month! It's over, and I have to admit I can breathe much easier now :) I had my secretary run around and take a bunch of pictures for me right at the last minute as I was in the back preparing my personal progress shpiel.

All the young women did a beautiful job fulfilling on their speaking parts and talks. For some reason, this event was so intimidating to put together. I think the next event will be a little less scary. I was so happy with the turnout and especially happy to watch the girls' eyes light up when they walked into the room!

The picture above were the centerpieces for all the tables. We had taffies scattered around for people to snack on during the program...too bad I had them in my basement and they got kind of hard! I just hope nobody chipped a tooth...seriously!

The easle to the left had the Young Women theme on it and the tall stand in the middle had a bunch of pictures of the girls all around it.

We had a calendar of events for the parents to take home with them with the programs. The class presidents were so cute and wrote individualized notes to each of the girls in their classes. We put them in the little basket for each of the girls to take home with them as well.

Look what we did, Mommy!

The pictures speak for themselves...

Valentine's Day!

On Valentine's Day we had some neighbors over for a hear-shaped waffle bar! It was delicious! What's better than strawberries, butter, and all the whipped cream you can handle for dinner? Ok, crepes maybe, but that's about it!

As a family, we celebrated Valentine's Day on Monday because Jason had the day off. We took the kid's to a big indoor playground and then later Jason and I went out...alone- love it when that happens :)

Another picture by Brooklyn. She is so proud that she can center me exactly in the screen- which she did pretty well actually.

B-dawg, his balloon, and his drink of course. They all go hand-in-hand really.

Brooklyn hand-made us a little valentine where she wrote her name all by herself and drew a picture. She's so funny- all of her drawings of people have little circles on them to represent tummies. It makes me laugh.

Brooklyn's Valentine's Party at Preschool

Brooklyn left for her big Valentine's Day Party and what did Beckam come home and do? He slid down the stairs head-first...

...and went outside to roll around in the dirt. What is it about the chemical makeup of a boy that just invites dirt and danger? So funny!

Brooklyn's Valentine's that she gave out and colored herself. I tried to make it look like the sucker was the arrow through the heart, but I'm not sure that's what it actually looks like. Oh well. "A" for effort, right?

B-Kate at her cubby. She was so excited to party...she came home with pink frosting on her face.

Proudly holding up her hand-made bag!

She was very excited to give her teachers their Valentine's as well and had to hold them all the way to preschool.

Melissa's Bridal Shower

Nicole, me, Melissa, Jenilyn, and Jill

Nicole's little one. She's cute even when she cries!

The bride to be...gleaming with happiness

Random pics!

Right after I got back from pilates- Brooklyn has a fetish with taking pictures, so she took my camera and told us to say "cheese". Beckam chose not to participate, however.

Beckam's fake "what's going on" face! :)

My little babies!
