A Merry Christmas in California

When our ship docked, we headed to Jason's parents house for all the Christmas festivities to begin- Hooray!

All of us at a new healthy restaurant that just opened by their house.
Can't remember the name of it, but it had great food that was on the healthy side :)

Monga and Beckam

Christmas Eve dinner
The kids were so loud through dinner- they sang Christmas songs (at the top of their lungs), and serenaded us throughout the meal.

We were just missing Steele and Ciera :( boo-hoo!

I had to get a picture of Mike and Julie's Christmas card wall. The day after I took this picture, they ended up filling up both sides of the walls as well. Sheesh!

...and I love Julie's Christmas Snowmen display in the bonus room. The big snow balls light up and it's so cute! She is amazing!

This is the other snowmen display

This is the Christmas baby gangsta...

...and the Christmas baby angel.

Christmas morning!
Stockings first...

Beckam loves to watch football on TV and go to BYU games!
He always asks to watch football games and then puts his game-face on as he scowls and charges everyone in the room. He even growls while he does it...I think that's a mix of Dragons and football all in one.

She got a Repunzel barbie for Christmas and soon learned to braid her long hair all on her own. I showed her how to braid once during sacrament meeting and five minutes later, she had redone it by herself. I can't believe how quickly kids can learn!

They got a musical drum set...Grandma and Grandpa made fun of Santa all morning for getting one that had skulls on it. But, I'm sure that was the only unisex drum set Santa could find and thought it was totally fine.

Brooklyn got a new baby set. It was and still is the perfect gift for her. She has done so much with it.

I don't know what the Christmas grump is all about but he was over it in 3 seconds.

There is not a more perfect gift than letting kids hear the sound of their own voices!

One of Beckam's favorites was getting two a Woody doll and a big super Buzz Lightyear.

Brooklyn got a Barbie computer and played with it all morning. She still gets it out when mom and dad are on their computers.

And of course more swimming in the spa.
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Buzz Lightyear about to dive in!
"To infinity...and beyond!"

Cruise continued

Ignasio surprised us with a monkey wearing my sunglasses

Our dining hall on the Royal Carribean

It was a fun trip, but very cold while out at sea. We couldn't really enjoy walking around the outside of the ship for that reason, which meant staying inside...and that equals motion sickness. Blah! It was a nice getaway though and fun to get to know everyone better. So glad we got to go!

Pre-Christmas Cruise

We all flew to California together, stayed a night, then Jason and I left for the Cruise.
Jason's work took some of the team on a cruise and Jason qualified to go. Although the week before Christmas was kind of crazy, it turned out to be great timing. We ended up staying in California for an extra week after the cruise to spend Christmas with Monga and Papa. The kids had such a great time, of course, at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Whenever we would warn them how many days until we are going home, Brooklyn would say, "we are home!"

The central part of the cruise ship.

The CEO, team and leaders from the company

Our nice little room keeper made us a new animal out of towels everyday.
Our room keeper knew everything about us and the people we were with.
One day I walked out into the hall and said out loud, but to myself, "I wonder which room Christina is in..." And I heard my room keeper from around the corner yell out the room number to me. He wished one of the guys Happy Birthday the morning of his birthday, etc. Ignasio took good care of us.

We had to take everyone to Club Cascadas while we were in Cabo of course. The best stop! So, we all ate at the restaurant and swam there for the day. It was actually more heavenly than the cruise and I didn't want to leave. But the whole trip was awesome...(when I wasn't motion sick!!!)

The Theater Room

Another little creature

Here we are watching the Ice Show. It was amazing!!! They had professional ice skaters from around different parts of the world. Definitely the highlight of all the shows.

Rock Climbing. Woo-hoo! My favorite was just repelling down after you climb to the top. So fun!

Ice Skating

Belly Flop contests

This was part of the Ice Show...the second time we watched it. We got pictures, but weren't allowed to have the flash on, so they're a little dark.

More pictures coming when I have room on my computer :)
