The Fam

Daddy having a chat with Beckam

Uncle Steele hanging out with us for the weekend. He does such a good job with the kids! Thanks Uncle Steele.

Jason and the kids waiting for me at the doctor's office. This appointment ended up taking a total of about 3 hours, so lunch was probably a good idea.
Veronica and Beckam snuggling...he's good at that.
This little half-smile reminds me of Jody

I love these boys! Aren't they handsome. XOXO

Brooklyn goofing around. She was actually saying "cheese" for the camera.

A Visit with Jeni and Derek

Brooklyn and me. Brooklyn loves it when I take pictures of us together, me holding the camera in the air and taking it myself...so this was for her.
This was Brooklyn waiting for Bria to come over.
She kept saying "where Bria?" Then, she would answer herself and say "with her mommy."
Jeni and Me
I should have got a picture of Jeni impersonating Mr. Collins from the Pride and Prejudice play she just went to see. It's hillarious!! She actually turns into the character...i love it! We all know she is the best and funniest impersonator. Oh, thanks for the laughs, I love you.

Yay, Bria's here!

"BFF's"

Beckam (left) and Eric (right)- about a month and a half apart.

I think one day they will look back on this picture and just laugh...as we did! Don't you just want to bury your face in their chubby tummies!!!

Great Grandpa Roy and GG

Proud Great Grandparents!
"GG" is how Brooklyn refers to her Great Grandma Ora Lee
"Papa Woo-ee" is how she refers to her Great Grandpa Roy

Little Love Bugs

Brooklyn loves her cat-eye sunglasses. It's about time she breaks her own instead of mine.
She is also adapting to her new baby brother and is a lot more feisty than I thought she would be (Jason swears she gets it from her mom...I have no idea what he's talking about.) But aside from her somewhat vicious acts, it has been so adorable to see her genuinely want to be with him and kiss him and soothe him when he cries. She really loves just sitting with him and watching him. I am always on my guard, though, ready to throw my body between his and hers just in case.

The flash of the camera kept waking him up and finally he opened his eyes just enough to let me know I was really starting to annoy him
A little tummy time...he actually really likes it and almost falls asleep instead of getting a neck workout. I'm just glad he likes it because Brooklyn couldn't stand being on her tummy. They are so opposite. They look alike, but have been so different as far as "baby habbits" go. He is definitely a man's man. He is the loudest eater. At 3 am I am sitting in my little chair feeding him and giggling to myself because he's so loud and snorty. He also sleeps with this little snore that's almost soothing really (until it turns into other noises I've never heard before), it makes me smile myself to sleep. Brooklyn was always a silent eater and made sweet little cooing noises in her sleep, but no, he's all boy!
Since babies distinguish black and white better than any other images, I drew him a little art masterpiece...which he really enjoyed I might add.
Okay, this picture clearly shows one of my favorite features about this little angel...his fluffy, spiky hair! I could comb it down, but it will fluff itself right back up. I sit and rub my fingers through it all the time, I love it!

Memory Game :)

Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty cool (and funny) to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. :) If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Fourth of July

These two little firecrackers were about all the fireworks I saw on the Fourth...what else do you do for the Fourth with a brand spankin' new little newborn and you're as paranoid as Jason and I are?
Daddy took Brooklyn to see the huge parade and she LOVED it!!
She was of course captivated by the horses of all things...or the bumbs in front of her...
But there was always time to wander around just to smell the flowers.
Her favorite thing about the Fourth was her little flag she got at the parade.
How nice of her to share it with her baby brother.

So in Love with Beckam

Our precious Beckam Jason came to us last week weighing 6 lbs. 13 oz.
He is so much fun that exhaustion seems to be a piece of cake as long as it's for him. I was so nervous to be a mommy of two so close together, but the minute I heard his little cry before I even got to see him, I was so in love that total love and excitement replaced all my anxieties. We have already shared so many smiles together... call it gas, but I think he knows he has my heart. Sometimes when I laugh, he joins in with a smile. Jason and I feel so lucky and so blessed to be the parents of this special little boy who so urgently wanted to join our family.
